Basketball

Since I was little I love basketball. My brother, who has already played for 10 years, encouraged me to play it too. I decided to give it a go, and surprisingly, nowadays basketball is the sport which I like the most. My family and I have become basketball lovers: we watch games on TV, we enjoy (and also suffer) all matches...

I.                   Due to all time I have been watching basketball, I have been able to learn some rules about it.

II.                Punctuation
A.   3 points: if you score a basket from 6.25 meters line or further away.
B.    1 point: if you score a basket which the referee has noted due to other player of the rival team has committed a fault about you. This fault is thrown from free throw line.
C.    2 points: if you score a basket from less than 6.25 meters line.

III.             Faults
A.   Each player only can commit 5 fault. When he/she commit the 5th one, the player can’t continue playing.
B.    When a team commit 5 fault among all members of it, that team will be in “BONUS”. For this reason, all fault which are made in this period will be thrown from free throw line.
C.    A player who has been fouled, must throw 2 shoot from free throw line.

IV.            Time
A.   The game is divided into 4 periods of 10 minutes each one.
B.    From 1st part (1st and 2nd periods) to 2nd part (3rd and 4th periods) it is existed a break in order to players can recover their strengths.
C.    When the ball is out the court lines or any player has committed a fault, the time is stopped until the ball is already in the court or the player has thrown the fault.

V.                In conclusion, basketball rules are so easy to learn: Although it is exist much more basketball rules, punctuation, faults and time are the main ones. If you want to try basketball, don’t doubt it!
